Hebrews 11:1 Now faith is being sure of what we hope for and certain of what we do not see.

Dear family and friends,

To walk a journey of faith, we look everyday to something that we cannot see and touch, but can only feel. That feeling is what causes us to continue down the road to living the purpose for our life. To live a life of faith in many ways is so much easier than if we had to figure it all out on our own. Knowing beyond a shadow of a doubt that through the death and resurrection of Jesus Christ, that God has always got our back and we are never alone.

In 2009, God began moving in our lives to reach youth on a weekly basis. As we started to prepare for it, we along with our Board of Directors after much prayer felt a strong need to put it on hold. Almost 2 years later the season is right to take a leap of faith and move forward. So,summer 2011 a new beginning is starting with the launch of Raivu 1440 . Raivu 1440 is a Christian youth outreach that introduces the outdoors to youth. We will meet weekly at Cedar Springs Church in Slinger starting the week of June 14 on Tuesdays and Thursdays. We will meet weekly outdoors as we learn about building and maintaining a garden, field trips, games, and learn the truth about living with the spirit of God. But the fruit of the spirit is love, joy, peace, patience, kindness, goodness, gentleness, faithfulness, and self-control. Galatians 5:22-23. Many of you have been asking for a long time what can we do to help and we have not been in a place to receive it yet. Well today, Raivu For Kids needs your help with donations and volunteers. Please pray about it and go online and submit a request to participate/volunteer.

 

Mark your calendars, for the Raivu For Kids Funfest, August 20, 2011 from 12-3pm hosted by Cedar Springs Church, Slinger WI.
