Dear Raivu Family and Friends,

As summer comes to a close and a new season is upon us it is for the glory of Jesus our Lord that we continue to serve. We are nearing 4 months of Raivu 1440 and after 4 months our love for the kids is growing; as is our desire to disciple them in the word of God. We feel an urgency to prepare them so when life happens, they have a foundation in more than what the world, which is satan and his angels have to offer. Living life with a purpose starts with understanding why we were created and accepting that our creation is for a purpose which is to give glory to God in everything that we do.

We are currently working through the process of approaching the village regarding building the 2 homes for the first phase of the vision of Raivu For Kids Kids. In the mean time, God has been keeping us very busy with Raivu 1440 youth. We spent the summer teaching on the code, "but the fruit of the spirit it love, joy, peace, patience, kindness, goodness, faithfulness, gentleness, and self-control." and the pledge "with the help of God I will live my life with honesty, courage, commitment, and service." The fall season has introduced a new chapter of teaching, which is building a firm foundation in Christ.

In September we also had a field trip day to Benaiah Ranch in Rubicon WI. The kids were so excited, this was the first time many had ever been horseback riding, or on a 4-wheeler. You can also see  pictures on our Facebook page.
