The Beacon

Church…but different.

Equipping a community of like-minded believers to bridge the gap between the church and Isaiah 1:17

"Learn to do right; seek justice. Defend the oppressed. Take up the cause of the fatherless; plead the case of the widow." Isaiah 1:17

As we meet the first and the third Saturday of each month at 6 pm for about one hour and fellowship after, we will be looking at God's word and learning how we can equip ourselves to live out scripture in our everyday lives together as a community.

How do we do this at The Beacon?

-Meet in smaller group settings, so we don’t lose that community fellowship.

-Dig into God's word and see how to live it out in our everyday lives no matter where you are in your journey with Him.

-Encourage and walk alongside our community to live out Isaiah 1:17

What does living out Isaiah 1:17 look like?

Learn to do right: Equipping and educating ourselves spiritually to walk alongside others.

Seek justice: To stand up and support through Biblical justice, and follow God's word to make right which is wrong.

Defend the oppressed: Families and individuals find themselves in an oppressed state either physically, spiritually, or both due to their past stories. That’s where THE BEACON comes in and walks alongside them and help break the cycle of their past.

Take up the cause of the fatherless: Whether in foster care, adoption, living with grandparents, in residential care, or rescued from trafficking, we will take a Biblical stand to defend and take care of God's children and bring them to a place of healing.

Plead the case of the widow: The Beacon believes that we are called to to protect and care for the widows (both men and women) & for those that are left alone and in a time of need.

If you are looking for something different than today's bigger church model, and a community with a smaller setting where you can have a chance to live out your faith in a practical way, The Beacon may be a good fit! We would love to meet you.

Remember, it’s church…but different.
